DrawCue Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 10, 2026 · Last updated: September 10, 2026

DrawCue ("DrawCue," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Red Pandas Company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the DrawCue mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Process

1.1 Images and Drawing Projects

DrawCue provides two main drawing modes.

Quick Trace allows you to trace a selected image without using generative AI. Images used for Quick Trace are not sent to Google for generative AI processing. If you use an account with cloud synchronization, project images may be uploaded to our cloud storage so that your projects can be synchronized and restored across supported devices.

Step-by-step Guide uses generative AI to create a drawing guide from an image you select. When you use this feature, the selected image and information necessary to generate the guide are transmitted through our servers to Google's Gemini API for AI processing.

Generated drawing assets may also be stored in our cloud storage as part of your project if cloud synchronization applies to your account.

We do not use your uploaded images for advertising.

1.2 Account Information

You may begin using DrawCue without providing your name or email address. In this case, Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous user identifier for the app.

If you choose or are required to link an account using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, we may receive information provided by the authentication provider, such as a provider-specific account identifier and, where available and authorized, your email address or name.

We use this information to maintain your account, synchronize eligible projects, restore purchases and credits where applicable, and provide account-related services.

1.3 Purchases and Credits

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription entitlements, purchase status, and in-app purchase functionality. RevenueCat may process information such as transaction information, purchase history, subscription status, technical information, and an app-specific user identifier.

We do not directly receive or store your complete payment card information.

1.4 Support, Feedback, and AI Reports

If you contact support, submit feedback, or report an AI-generated result, we may process information you provide together with relevant diagnostic information, such as your app version, project identifier, generation identifier, and information necessary to investigate the issue.

If you provide an email address when contacting support, we use it to respond to your request.

AI result reports are used for safety, abuse prevention, and AI quality monitoring.

1.5 Analytics and Diagnostics

We may use Firebase services such as Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app usage, diagnose crashes, improve performance, and maintain the reliability of DrawCue.

Depending on the service and device configuration, this information may include app interactions, device information, operating system and app version, diagnostic information, crash data, and app or device identifiers.

We do not use this information to sell personal data or for third-party behavioral advertising.

2. How We Use Information

We process information as necessary to:

3. AI Processing and Google

The Step-by-step Guide uses the Gemini Developer API provided by Google.

Before an image is submitted for AI processing, DrawCue informs you that the selected image will be sent to Google and processed using AI and asks for your permission to proceed. If you do not provide this permission, the image will not be submitted to Google for Step-by-step Guide processing.

You should only upload images that you own or have the necessary rights or permission to use.

Our production use of the Gemini Developer API uses Google's paid service. Under Google's terms applicable to paid Gemini API services, submitted prompts and responses are not used to improve Google's products. Google's own terms and privacy practices govern Google's processing of data provided to its service.

4. Age Requirements

DrawCue includes general drawing functionality that may be available to a broad audience.

However, AI-powered features, including the Step-by-step Guide, are intended only for users who are at least 18 years old.

Users under 18 should not use the Step-by-step Guide or other features that use Google's generative AI services.

The Step-by-step Guide uses Google's generative AI services and is intended for users aged 18 or older. Images selected for this feature are transmitted to Google for AI processing after the user provides the required AI processing consent.

5. Cloud Storage and Retention

For projects eligible for cloud synchronization, we may store the original image, generated drawing assets, project metadata, and a completed drawing photo that you choose to save.

These project files are generally retained while the applicable project and account remain active, unless they are deleted earlier.

When you delete a synchronized project, we delete the associated project data from our active cloud systems, subject to reasonable processing time, backups, security requirements, and any retention required by law.

When you delete your account, personal data associated with the account is deleted or de-identified unless we are legally required or have another lawful basis to retain particular records.

Certain transaction, purchase, security, fraud-prevention, or legal records may be retained for the period required or permitted by applicable law.

Support requests, feedback, and AI reports are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for support, safety, quality, dispute resolution, and legal purposes, after which they may be deleted or de-identified.

6. Sharing and Service Providers

We may share information with service providers only as necessary to operate DrawCue, including:

These providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.

We do not sell your personal information.
